Promoting Scenario Paintball PDF Print E-mail
Since 2007, Wargh! has been organising monthly Scenario Paintball games in Johor Bahru. For those hardcore wargamers, Wargh! has brought them along on weekend trips to attend larger Scenario Paintball events (150 vs 150 anyone?) in Kuala Lumpur and as far as Penang.

Scenario Paintball is totally different from the usual paintball games you play in Singapore. To begin with, there is no middle line dividing each half of the battlefield thus allowing for flanking maneuvers and ambushes along the trails. Some 'small' gamesites are about the size of a football field.

As the name suggests, the game is played around an overall theme (D-Day, Hamburger Hill) with many different objectives and missions for each team to complete. With balls zipping every which way and the adrenaline rush, this is easily the closest 'live' battlefield that you will want to get to.

We love wargaming and we would like to share our passion and our love of the game with you. That's why we are going to do a 2 for 1 special just for you :) Come for either of the following games below and we will bring you to Malaysia International ECO Paintball Challenge 2009 in Shah Alam, Kuala Lumpur on 6th and 7th June on us. Yes for FREE :) we will provide the lodging and transport, all you need to do is pay for the paintballs you shoot.

With each box (thats 2000 paintballs) of paintball going for RM180, there really isnt any reason why you shouldnt... and we hope to get at least 40 players :) so invite all your friends!

*** Wargh! reserves the right to reject any blacklisted players from this offer ***

DUE TO OVERWHELMING RESPONSE, ALL SEATS FOR THE ECO CHALLENGE WERE TAKEN UP.

We still conduct monthly wargames in JB, do join us.

It has come to our attention that there are some unscrupulous folks out there who lacking integrity and creativity, are trying to pass themselves off as representatives of Wargh! or Reality Gaming Concepts in order to ride on the pedigree of the Wargh! name and branding.

They have shamelessly approached our partners and demanded for the same rates Wargh! has worked so hard to get on behalf of our clients and fellow wargamers.

They have posted game details similar to our Wargh! Operations and referred interested parties to check out our site @ www.wargh.net for more information, indirectly inferring that Wargh! is authorizing them to organize the event.

In the past, a party we have collaborated with briefly, attempted to pass off their proposal as being from Wargh! with our Wargh! logo and credentials. -> this person's identity is being withheld for the moment pending legal actions.

While it may be said that imitation is the greatest form of flattery, it is morally, ethically and in the eyes of the law, wrong.

We are posting the names of 2 of these persons for your heads up.
1. Dawn Lim aka Pinky -> this is a guy and yes, the name is spelt Dawn, there is no typo.
2. Bob, associated with Dawn Lim

Thank you.

Op Phantom Thunder (Paintball) - 26th Apr PDF Print E-mail
The weather has become increasingly hot. There has been several reports of strange happenings in the hills around Bukit Ramly. Mutilated bodies stripped of their skin have been hanging from trees in the surrounding area. Superstition and rumor of a family of Pontianak returning to feast on the hapless villagers has cast a pall of fear in the air.

The truth is worse than a family of Pontianaks. Intel confirms that the Predators have returned. Your unit has been tasked to sweep the area and if possible, capture a Predator alive for 'debriefing'.

Succeed in your mission and you will be well rewarded. (Yes! There will be prizes...)

AAR: Operation Busted Cherry (Paintball) - 18 Jan PDF Print E-mail

Amidst the tall lallang swaying in the strong wind and scattered trees, nary a sound could be heard besides the soft rustling of the wild grass. Except for an occasional head popping out of the grass or around the trunk of a tree betraying the tranquil scene, you would hardly think that there were almost 50 bodies delicately maneuvering and closing in to 'kill' each other.

The sun was not as hot today but it still beat down on the backs of the players leopard crawling up the side of the hill. Along the top of the hill, the occasional head could be seen as the defenders patrolled up and down the track.

From the direction of the leftmost bunker, a single pop could be heard followed by more pops as battle was joined. The cacophony of pops were occasionally accompanied by shouts from players giving orders and directions to the rest of the team. The rhythmic sound of gunfire rose and then ebb followed by players from both sides raising an arm to declare their deaths and leaving the battlefield to the survivors.

On 23rd Nov 2008, a team made up of players from France, Turkey, Japan, Korea, Mexico, a contingent of fierce Pinoy warriors and Singapore's own Scenario Paintball team - the Wargh!Dogs joined up with Johorean paintballers (with such an international mix of players, lets just call them the UN team) and met the 66th Regiment, a scenario paintball team from Kuala Lumpur for a friendly game.
